I often hear from people who just want to go with the cheapest nutrisystem package without a lot of fanfare, especially when this is their first order and they want to try the diet.  Sure, you can get some frozen meals with the select plan, but it’s more expensive and, sometimes, people just want to try the diet in the cheapest way possible, especially initially.  To that end, I get a lot of questions about what is included on the menu for the nutrisystem basic or regular plan.

The menu can change and be updated from time to time.  New foods are added pretty regularly and sometimes, foods or meals are retired.  But, as of this writing, here is the menu that is offered on the basic nutrisystem plan. Note that you’ll get a sampling of these meals if you go with the favorites package, but you can hand pick your meals from the menu items below by customizing your package.
